Why Companies Need a Certified Chemical OHS Expert & Officer

Hazardous chemical control at work is regulated by Kepmenaker No. KEP.187/MEN/1999: companies with major-hazard potential must have a Chemical OHS Expert, while those with medium-hazard potential must have a Chemical OHS Officer.

Usually required when:

  • Chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, paint, fertiliser, food processing industries, and laboratories.
  • Hazardous goods warehouses or chemical storage tanks.
  • Labour inspection or a client audit asks for chemical OHS personnel.

Sertifikat dan lisensi diterbitkan Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan RI dan tercatat di Kemnaker, sehingga dapat ditelusuri. Lisensi/SIO berlaku untuk jangka waktu tertentu sesuai ketentuannya dan dapat diperpanjang — kami ingatkan dan bantu proses perpanjangannya. The certificate and licence are issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower and recorded by Kemnaker, so they can be verified. Licences/SIO are valid for a set period under the regulation and can be renewed — we remind you and help with renewal.
