Kenapa Perusahaan Wajib Memiliki K3 Penanggulangan Kebakaran (Kelas D, C, B, A)

Kepmenaker No. KEP.186/MEN/1999 mewajibkan pengusaha membentuk unit penanggulangan kebakaran di tempat kerja — petugas peran kebakaran (sekurang-kurangnya 2 orang untuk setiap 25 tenaga kerja), regu penanggulangan kebakaran, koordinator unit, dan ahli K3 spesialis penanggulangan kebakaran sebagai penanggung jawab teknis — serta menyelenggarakan latihan berkala.

Biasanya diwajibkan bila:

  • Setiap tempat kerja dengan tenaga kerja: jumlah petugas peran kebakaran mengikuti jumlah pekerja.
  • Industri berisiko kebakaran sedang–berat (kimia, migas, gudang, pabrik) membutuhkan regu, koordinator, dan ahli spesialis.
  • Audit SMK3, asuransi, atau klien menanyakan struktur tanggap darurat yang bersertifikat.

Why Companies Need a Certified Fire Response OHS (Classes D, C, B, A)

Kepmenaker No. KEP.186/MEN/1999 requires employers to form a fire response unit at the workplace — fire role officers (at least 2 for every 25 workers), a fire brigade, a unit coordinator, and a specialist fire OHS expert as technical lead — and to hold periodic drills.

Usually required when:

  • Every workplace with employees: the number of fire role officers follows headcount.
  • Medium-to-high fire-risk industries (chemicals, oil & gas, warehouses, factories) need a brigade, coordinator, and specialist expert.
  • SMK3, insurance, or client audits ask for a certified emergency structure.
